1991 Post Canadian Gallery
While some of the photos are similar to the American counterparts, that is where the similarity ends. The Canadian issue features both French and English wording and is consistently cut and centered more accurately. These seem to be independently developed because more thought and quality has gone into the overall design. Players have been divided into the National League and American League by colours which have been borrowed from the Major League Baseball Players Association shield and the 1962 Post American issues. As you peruse these galleries you may notice that through the 1990's, the Canadian issues are more ambitious than their American counterparts. One can assume it has something to do with a more limited market combined with overall production costs.
