1990 Post American Gallery
1990 marks the year when Post cereal re-entered into the baseball card market. Posters were issued and cereal boxes once again promoted baseball cards however this would be a bit different. Instead of the massive 200 card sets one could assemble by cutting out the backs of boxes in the 1960's These were inserted into boxes in packs of 3. Consumers could easily collect and trade to complete this 30 card set. This set focuses on the current stars of the game. Conspicuously absent from these and future releases are team logos as licencing agreements and such have become an integral part of the baseball business. 1n 1990, these cards were only available in the US market.
